Member introduction

The Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg (HSU HH) is one of the two Universities of the Bundeswehr, who educate on academic level young officer cadets. 26 Bachelor, and Master programmes, accredited by civilian accreditation agencies, are being offered. There are four faculties (Economic and Social Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as Mechanical Engineering).

Research is carried out at a very high level on the basis of highly sophisticated equipment available. Research topics are selected freely by the researchers. The HSU HH cooperates closely with other universities, non-university research facilities, and companies. Regional, national, and world-wide cooperations are typical for all faculties.
